Sex Trafficking

Apollo Quiboloy, Leader Of Philippines-Based Megachurch Kingdom Of Jesus Christ, was indicted for sex trafficking!

Apollo Quiboloy was indicted through a 74-page indictment charging him with sex trafficking on November 11, 2021. The indictment charged him of coercing girls and young women to have sex with him, as well as running a sex-trafficking operation that threatened victims, including children as young as 12, with “eternal damnation” and physical abuse. These young girls were forced into so-called “night duties”, where they were sexually abused by the pastor. US prosecutors also noted that he used church donations to pay for his lavish lifestyle

The Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KJC), officially the Kingdom of Jesus Christ, The Name Above Every Name, Inc., is a Philippine-based Restorationist church. It was founded by Pastor Apollo Quiboloy, whom KJC adherents believe to be the “Appointed Son of God”.

The members of the congregation refer to their community as a “Kingdom Nation.” They claim about 2 million “Kingdom citizens” abroad and 4 million in the Philippines.[2] On weekdays, members hold Bible sessions and prayer services. On Sundays, a “Global Worship” is held at the Cathedral in Buhangin District.

The superseding indictment unsealed Thursday accuses Quiboloy as well as two additional administrators of recruiting girls as young as 12 to 25 years old, since 2002 to at the very latest 2018 to work as “personal assistants” whom they referred to as “pastorals,” who would do chores for him such as cooking & cleaning, as well as providing him massages, and have sex with Apollo for what they referred to as “night duty”. The indictment included & refers to five female victims. Three of those five victims were underage.

Thank you Lord for exposing the darkness that has entered into your churches. We pray that the light continues to expose the darkness.

Give justice to the weak and the fatherless; maintain the right of the afflicted and the destitute. Rescue the weak and the needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked.”

Psalm 82:3-4
